I just finish Haruki Murakami’s “Sputnik Sweetheart” and one of the characters was really into the book so I decided to go pick up a copy. Anyone know what I can expect?

Just a great American travel story. I read this one day in a library when I was locked out of my house. Jack Kerouac was pretty cool and interesting, and it made me realize how banal our lives can be sometimes.

I feel like The Odyssey is the OG road trip story.

When most of your jouney is on sea, is it really a roadtrip?

The great part about the book, I have read it now 5 times and every time I change my thought on the ending. We can discuss in a spoiler thread when you are finished.

Literally the third worst book I've ever read. Number two is also by Kerouac.
